Rachael Yates is an instant photographer from Houston, Texas. Her adventure with instant began in 2013 when a group of photographers gave her a Polaroid Land 100 and SX-70 Alpha 1 originally intended for the trash. The learning curve, tangible aspect, and unpredictable results were fascinating and she has never looked back. With a penchant for self-portraiture and the exploration of human emotion, Rachael often employs the catharsis of photography as a means to study and examine the abstraction of her psyche.
This will be Rachaels first year with the 12:12 Project
